From the pulpit, refers to anyone who when speaking, assumes authority or is arrogant.

For the sake of example, for example. Abbreviated as e.g.

 

Exeunt.
They exit. In a written play, this tells the actors to leave the stage.

 

Exeunt omnes.
They all leave.
